Crystal Stilts & Vivian Girls Tour (8/4 Great Scott)

Crystal Stilts and Vivian Girls are going on tour together this August for a hand full of stops. Their first destination: Allston’s own Great Scott on August 4th!

Crystal Stilts, who recently released their self-titled LP with WOODIST Records, has a melancholy post-punk, new wave sound. They’re moody like Joy Division and catchy like The Cure with a drop of My Bloody Valentine’s charisma.

Currently Crystal Stilts are scheduled to play a couple of shows this month in NY with other acts like the Vaselines and Awesome Color.

Vivian Girls have an edgier sound with rough vocal and heavier guitar riffs. The trio takes punk and softens it will mellow vocals. If you’re a fan of Pants Yell!, and noise rock with a faint air of new wave, then these two acts are the ones for you.
